These are the methods we use to determine the measurements listed on our products:

Jeans consist of 6 major measurement categories: The waist, rise, inseam, thigh, knee, and leg opening.

Waist

Lay your jeans down on a flat surface. Try to align the front and rear waistband before measuring from edge to edge. Multiplying this measurement by 2 yields your waist measurement.

Rise

Simply measure from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam straight down to the edge of the hem. This yields the inseam measurement.

Thigh

Again starting from the crotch seam, this time measure perpendicularly to the edge of the leg. Multiply this measurement by 2 to obtain your thigh measurement.

Knee

Beginning at the crotch seam, measure down 13 inches.

From this point measure across the knee area to get your measurement.

Leg Opening

Lay the leg opening as flat as possible. To obtain the leg opening measurement, simply measure the hem from edge to edge.

Tops consist of 4 main measurements: Chest, shoulders, sleeves, and length.

Chest

Make sure your garment is laying down flat and is buttoned up. Measure from armpit to armpit and multiply this length by 2 for your chest measurement.

Shoulders

Repeat the same process as the chest measurement but this time from the top seam of the sleeves.

Sleeves

Starting at the top seam of either sleeve, measure down to the end of the wrist opening.

Length

Center your measuring tape to the back of the garment. Place the start of your measuring tape just below the collar of the garment and measure all the way down to the very bottom of the hem.
